About Glo
I’m Gloria, the founder and designer behind A Home That Glos. My passion for design is in creating spaces that feel warm, intentional and inviting. I believe a home should reflect the people who live there — their routines, their stories, and the way they want to feel when they walk through the door.
Inspired by coastal living, European culture, and grounded in comfort, my design style blends timeless elements with relaxed, approachable details. I focus on thoughtful layering, functional layouts, and a balance of beauty and practicality, ensuring each space feels polished, yet effortless.
My Design Philosophy
At A Home That Glos, design is never one-size-fits-all. Every project is approached with care, intention and a deep understanding of how you live in your space and how you want to feel in your home.

THE DESIGN PROCESS
Designing your home should feel exciting, not stressful. My process is structured, collaborative and designed to keep everything clear and enjoyable from start to finish.
Step 1: Consultation & Discovery
We begin with a brief consultation call to determine if we’re a perfect fit to bring your vision to life. We will discuss your space, goals and investment. This allows me to fully understand how you live and what you’re hoping to achieve. We will discuss your design style and how you want to feel in your space.
Step 2: Measurements & Vision
For in-home projects, I visit your space to take accurate measurements and review existing elements. For virtual projects, measurements and photos are provided by the client. Together, we define the overall vision and design direction.
Step 3: Inspiration Boards
Inspiration boards are curated to establish the look and feel of the space including color palettes, textures and selections. This is where we align on style and vibes giving you a clear vision of your new space before we start designing.
Step 4: Design Boards & Presentation
Once the direction is approved, I develop detailed design boards with furniture, rugs, lighting, accessories and materials. Fabric and finish samples may be sourced as needed to ensure everything feels cohesive and you can see & feel exactly how your space will come together. We'll gather your feedback and refine every detail until it's perfect.
Step 5: Review & Refinement
We review the design selections together and make final refinements based on your feedback. My goal is to ensure the final design feels thoughtful, balanced, and true to you.
Step 6: Ordering & Coordination
After final approval, I provide a detailed quote and invoice. Once payment is received, I place orders, coordinate deliveries, and track items as they arrive and keep you updated.
Step 7: Installation & Reveal
When all items have arrived, installation takes place — where the design truly comes to life and the space is transformed and magic happens. During installation, I am present to ensure all details are executed & align with the approved design plan and communication runs smoothly throughout the process.
